Katie Christian

Katie is a visionary leader specializing in early-stage customer-centric growth and retention strategies. Known for her blend of enthusiasm, customer curiosity, and data-driven insights, Katie creates impactful customer journeys that drive sustainable business growth.

Currently serving as the Retention Expert, Katie provides thought leadership, mentors CX teams across our portfolio companies, and contributes to due diligence processes for new investments. She was a founding member of two highly successful B2B SaaS startups, SalesLoft (Acquired by Vista) and Calendly (a pioneer in product-led growth). Katie also launched her consulting business advising early-stage CEOs and founders, and has become a prominent figure in the customer success and growth stage communities.

An entrepreneur at heart, Katie played a pivotal role in scaling Calendly’s Customer Success team to over 35 members and supporting a 15x revenue increase. At SalesLoft, where she was the 7th hire, Katie contributed to revenue growth from $500k to over $20M in four years. She has a proven track record of founding and optimizing support, onboarding, and customer success functions, as well as driving innovation in competitive markets.

Katie’s background includes achieving success beyond the business realm as a former NCAA championship rower and earning a B.S. from Barry University. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, two children, and their dog, Rocky.
